New composite maps of New Bedford and the surrounding area

We have recently created four new composite maps of New Bedford, Massachusetts, and the surrounding area. These maps were made by combining four 7.5 x 7.5 USGS Topographic quads into a single large map, and then extracting the sections into smaller maps that are designed to fit standard frame sizes. The four quads used to make these maps are New Bedford North 1964, Marion 1962, New Bedford South and Sconticut Neck 1962.

We merged the four quads together in Photoshop and then matched the colors of the quads to get a uniform appearance.  Once the combined map has uniform colors, we then cut out the final maps that we offer on our website.

These custom maps and more are available at our site shop.old-maps.com.
