Portions of some of the maps in this book are reproduced here. The first example is a portion of the 1871 Beers Atlas

1871   Map from Beers Atlas

The map to the right is part of the remarkable 1830 Map of Greenfield from the State Archives.  This full, rich detail of this map has not heretofore been made available in Greenfield.  Tracings and poor photocopies have been in circulation, but these copies have not done justice to this beautiful document of Greenfield's history.

Note that even the doors and windows are drawn in on some houses. Weathervanes can be seen on the E.A. Hall building and the church on Bank Row.
