Early Maps
of
Montague, Massachusetts
1715-1914

1794  Montague Center

This is the oldest map to show any details in Montague Center.  The heavy dark line is the sawmill River.  The old Town Hall is in the center left (it is "leaning" to the right in this depiction). The road across the top is Swamp Road; the road on the right is Route 63.
This map is an excerpt from the 1794 map of Montague.  The map depicts principle buildings in town, and has a detailed legend.
