Old State Maps of New Hampshire

1761  "Blanchard & Langdon"  Map

This important early map shows New Hampshire, and the neighboring states of Vermont and Maine, at the time of the French & Indian War.  The Blanchard & Langdon map, issued in 1761, shows conditions of 1756-1757, when it was prepared.

This map shows and names all the townships in New Hampshire - including what later became Vermont. Recent military events and forts are recorded, as are routes traveled by hostile Indians.
