The 1885 bird's-eye view of Brattleboro shows
remarkable details of Brattleboro's landscape at the time. The
Wilder Building is clearly seen here as the 4-story edifice in the
left center. Flat Street can be seen behind the building,
alongside Whetstone Brook. Note that the Estey factory is no
longer at its historic location across from the Wilder site. |
