Enlarged reprints of old Vermont town maps.

Our poster maps are taken from the ca. 1870 "Beers" atlases, well known to those who appreciate local history. Original map elements have been enlarged for better legibility and arranged to make an attractive wall decoration. We have rearranged some map elements so all town village are on the same pages.
The enlarged size makes it easy for you and your guests to enjoy these snapshots of Vermont's past without squinting or using a magnifying glass!

Most of our "poster maps" measure 18" x 24",  a convenient size for wall mounting in home or office.

Here is a typical poster map - Manchester in 1869. On the left is the Town map, with a lengthy list of "Subscribers", those citizens who purchased the original 1869 atlas. The two village detail maps are on the right, old Manchester, and the busy commercial district then known as Factory Point. We have added small "blow-ups" of the downtown sections of each of these maps.
