1834 Robinson VT State Map
Lewis Robinson's first map of Vermont, showing town & county boundaries as well as major roads and interesting geological features.

Robinson himself was one of the most prolific publishers of copper plate engravings.  He ran a copper-late printing house in South Reading VT in the 1820s which produced many maps of the region, as well as engraved scriptural illustrations.  In 1836, Robinson established a large publishing house in Akron Ohio, which produced most of the copies of this map and its following editions, including the 1845 map.
