1859 Bird's-Eye View
Ludlow

Ludlow, Vermont 1859      (20 x 26" orig size)
H.P. Moore
18" x 24"    or     24" x 36"

This pastoral view of Ludlow, first published in 1859, is unusual in that few Vermont towns have such pre-civil war views.  (Numerous views were produced later in the 19th century- including the 1885 Ludlow view). Also known as panoramic maps, these views show remarkable detail of  landscape & buildings.  Note that even windows and doors are depicted. To see a more detailed copy of the view, click here. The image you see is in low-resolution, but will allow you to see which streets and house are shown.  A detailed section is below.

Available in two sizes:  18" x 24" for smaller spaces, or 24" x36" . The larger size is enlarged  from the original, and is more useful for viewing by groups of people. This makes a nice wall decoration for public places such as office lobbies, restaurants etc.

Printing on heavy white bond paper.  Shipped rolled in a tube.
