1886 Bird's-Eye View
Springfield

Springfield, Vermont 1886
L. R. Burleigh
18" x 24"    or     24" x 36"

This charming old view of Springfield is one of a series of "bird's-eye" views made of principal Vermont town centers in the late 1800s.  Also known as panoramic maps, these views show remarkable detail of Springfield's old buildings.  Note that even windows and doors are depicted. To see a more detailed copy of the view, click here. The image you see is in low-resolution, but will allow you to see which streets and house are shown.  A detailed section is below.

Available in two sizes:  18" x 24" for smaller spaces, or 24" x36" . The larger size is enlarged  from the original, and is more useful for viewing by groups of people. This makes a nice wall decoration for public places such as office lobbies, restaurants etc.
