In 1895 the Estey factory was producing 1000s of organs per month.
This map excerpt shows the eight principal factory buildings as
well as Jacob Estey's house on the left side("J. Estey Est.).
Jacob had died in 1890. The neighborhood to the left
of the factory is "Esteyville" where many Estey employees lived
close to their jobs. |
