These old maps show the names and locations of houses and all the old roads.
\nThey are a wonderful for genealogical research or just fun items to hang on your wall.<\/p>\n

The maps are extracts from the 19th century county wall maps of Pennsylvania.  The wall maps are huge – such as 4′ x 5′ – and are hard to deal with.<\/p>\n

What we have done is “chopped out” the town and village sections from the large maps so that they can be printed on small sheets for wall display or studying.<\/p>\n

These pictures are from the Bradford County 1858 wall map.  There are 35 town maps, 9 village closeups and 10 pictures.  All are available for viewing or purchase.<\/p>\n

A typical township map can be printed at 16×20 or smaller.<\/p>\n

Our collection has more than 2000 maps – covering all the towns in 59 of Pennsylvania’s 67 counties.

The free on-line images are fuzzy and you won’t be able to read all the text, but you can see if your house is named – or how many neighbors you had in the 1860s (Most county maps were made in 1850s & 1860s).<\/p>\n

You can buy prints easily on the web site in different sizes.<\/p>\n

Our web site is easily search-able – just type your town name into the search box in upper left corner. In this example, I typed “Canton Pen”  (Pennsylvania).<\/p>\n
