Revolutionary War Map of the Boston Area

The area around Boston is shown in this this map by an American Volunteer titled “The Seat of War in New England.” It shows the marches of several corps sent towards Boston, as well as the battle on Bunkers Hill (Bunker Hill).

The small illustrations of the soldiers marching towards Boston are surprisingly Detailed! You can make out multiple soldiers walking in formation, was well as others riding on horse back pulling carts.


Thes two images show twodifferent groups of soldiers coming from different parts of New Hampshire.


Here are them men under General Washington, marching East towards Boston from Worcester.

The American and English forces engaged in the battle at Bunkers Hill, while Charlestown is up in flames!
